Breakfast Meeting – May 11, 2011

I have been invited to talk about my book at a meeting of the “Fireside Pumpers” on May 11, 2011. I’m very pleased for the invitation and another opportunity to keep the memory alive. The “Fireside Pumpers” is affiliated with the Penn Brad Oil Museum in Custer City, Pennsylvania. Its members are retired or active oil people as well as anyone who is interested in belonging. This group has a breakfast the second Wednesday of every month, usually with a ‘speaker of interest’ and I’m proud to be included in that category. The curator of the Museum is Sherry Schulze. She contacted me when advised by Tom Miller that I would be willing to attend one of the future meetings as a speaker. I met Tom at my book signing at the Main Street Mercantile in Bradford, PA. We share the same pride in our fathers.
